Song #4 - Video
HOW THE HELL DO YOU HAVE A COLD FOR TWO WEEKS!?!?
[And a good morning to you too, Johto and Kanto! You wanted a teenage boy yelling at the top of his lungs, right? Yeah. To be fair- he seems to be yelling at someone off screen.]
OH, THAT'S RIGHT, IT'S BECAUSE YOU NEVER SIT DOWN AND GET ANY FRIGGIN' REST! STOP CLEANING THE HOUSE, MAKA, OR I WILL COME OVER THERE AND
KICK
YOUR
ASS!
[With that, he turns back to the Pokegear and starts speaking in a normal person indoor voice.]
So that's the situation. My friend over here has some sort of complex, I don't even know- I'm almost positive she didn't calm down when the hurricane was in full effect, so now she's sick but not listening to Doctor Rung's orders of "knock that shit off". How the hell is the nerd of our group of friends just as stupid as the actual stupid guys?
Anyone have any advice for how to make her lay down already that doesn't involve me roundhouse kicking her in the head and into unconsciousness? Alternatively- if anyone is in Olivine, I swear I will literally pay you to come over here and help me confiscate her Pokemon, force her into bed, and tie her down.
Seriously, this is getting ridiculous.

[sort of "well fuck"]
...Seriously, what is with you and this aversion to resting up?
[sort of "you're screwed bro"]
...Besides, the reason I went out in the storm was to help somebody that collapsed. It was worth it.
[sort of "WHY ARE YOU A PAIN"]
[sort of "YOU LOVE ME"]
[Maka's actually stopping for a minute and looking at him, tilting her head to the side.]
If you really want me to rest...you have to promise to do the things on my to-do list. And make me that really good soup.
[sort of "I ADMIT NOTHING"]
Everything else I can probably do- I can definitely do the soup.

[Putting off work? She really is sick!!]

Yeah, they aren't going anywhere! Come on, go to bed already so I can make the soup! I heard about a good book to shove at you too!

[At the same time that she says this, Kali gives off a warning bark--hackles rising and fur bristling.
Maka stands up and pushes the chair in her own self, staring at her friend through bleary eyes.]
You don't have to push me around or yell at me, is that how you treat Fire and Thunder when they're sick?
no subject
I don't yell at them, but I do sometimes have to pick them up and force them into bed while they're kicking up a fuss. Usually I can distract them with a tv show or something on the couch before that happens.

[She never has been, really, but having a protective hellhound makes it easier to reinforce.]
Well. Obviously I'm not a little kid and I'm not one of your Weapons, keep that in mind next time you try to "care give."

Someone has to watch your back, you know.

And it doesn't last for two weeks.
