Alright, random question for everyone now that Mother Nature is no longer trying to drown all of us with vigor.

If you had types like Pokemon, what would you be?

It's just something that randomly occurred to me while I was waiting out the rain. Me and my friend Maka have already talked about it for ourselves and the people we know.

I figured I was psychic-fighting. Back home, I'd what you'd call the heavy hitter of my team. This relates sorta to my fighting thing, but also to why I'm psychic type or at least I'd say so. See, back home, if you have the right soul and the right know-how, you can resonate your soul with someone else and it makes you stronger. Most people can only do it with one person if the circumstances are right, but there are people with flexible souls who can resonate with anybody and I'm basically one of those types. I can even do it with multiple people- basically one in a billion sort of thing.

[That's a blind estimate. He's just simply never heard of such a thing happening to his extent besides him.]

So.... Yeah, what's your type or what you think it'd be, and why? Let's get some conversation going up here.

It's... mm. We wanted to... cause more than just physical change. We wanted to change the city... to make the people change, as well.

I'm not really... one for politics myself. That part was mostly taken care of by my... friend.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I have a friend around my age who's just become head honcho of the DWMA and everything, so he has to deal with this whole big freakin' mess we're left with.

But, y'know, it's better than fighting all the time and I say that as the guy who likes fighting.

What was your friend's name? I knew Death the Kid.

Ah... Grant Kendrell. I don't know anyone called... that.

Oh yeah, I can definitely imagine an old guy politician with that sorta name.

And don't worry, Kid had a pretty unique name.

So, what kind of stuff did you built? Like, were there particular designs you liked or something?

All sorts of things. Parks... skyscrapers... concert halls... I designed and built whatever... whatever the whims of the people decided on.

You didn't work for, like, a company or something?

I worked for the city.

Oh, so a government job sorta deal?

More or less. Additions were voted on by the residents of Cloudbank, and the winning suggestions were sent to me to implement.

Wait- people voted on the kind of things that got to be built? That sounds cool!

Mm. Everything from the color of the sky and the weather to the types of flowers in the parks was voted on.

...Wait, color of the sky, what?

... The fact that this world doesn't do it is strange to me.

[Yeah he's already figured out most people don't come from places where that's possible.]

It just does it all on its own where I come from too! Because... science, I guess.

Although I can understand how this place is weird. The sun and moon here don't have faces, can you believe that?

The moon has phases in Cloudbank, but not faces. The sun doesn't either.
