Alright, random question for everyone now that Mother Nature is no longer trying to drown all of us with vigor.

If you had types like Pokemon, what would you be?

It's just something that randomly occurred to me while I was waiting out the rain. Me and my friend Maka have already talked about it for ourselves and the people we know.

I figured I was psychic-fighting. Back home, I'd what you'd call the heavy hitter of my team. This relates sorta to my fighting thing, but also to why I'm psychic type or at least I'd say so. See, back home, if you have the right soul and the right know-how, you can resonate your soul with someone else and it makes you stronger. Most people can only do it with one person if the circumstances are right, but there are people with flexible souls who can resonate with anybody and I'm basically one of those types. I can even do it with multiple people- basically one in a billion sort of thing.

[That's a blind estimate. He's just simply never heard of such a thing happening to his extent besides him.]

So.... Yeah, what's your type or what you think it'd be, and why? Let's get some conversation going up here.

The moon has phases in Cloudbank, but not faces. The sun doesn't either.

Because I got here and I knew a friend of mine, and she got me some new Pokemon and at first I was like "oh hey cool" but now guess how many Pokemon I've actually chosen for myself?

One! Out of six, if we're not counting my starter!

So be careful, before you find yourself drowning in gift Pokemon.

I think I'll be fine. She just seems to be... under the impression that I like cats, since Grant's husband had one.

I'm not... opposed to them. They're tolerable, at least. But I've never really had time or... energy for pets. I don't have any particular fondness for cats, no.

Well cats are pretty low energy, I mean compared to dogs anyway. They just get in your face a lot so you don't have to go to them when it comes to pets.

True. Asher's cat tended to walk all over my equations, though. Had to... ban it from my workshop for a while.

Yeah, they do that. When they want attention, they're determined to freakin' get it.

So, Purrloin, huh? Don't they have a seedy reputation or something?

Maybe. It doesn't matter much to me. But the cat is not going to be taking my paperwork.
