[Maka will probably hear the sound of a dumb teenage boy smashing into things in his haste on the other side of the door. By the time she opens the door, there's some treats on the coffee table, an egg nestled on the couch (perhaps a bit haphazardly, and Kirikou is in the middle of having his Doduo hold up a messily written 'WELCOME BACK MAKA' sign with their beaks. He looks back over his shoulder awkwardly.]
...Like, five more minutes is all I was asking for, Maka.
[A nod, she pulls out two Pokeballs from her bag and tosses them to the ground. Two Pokemon very similar in appearance pop out, though one has red markings and the other blue markings, plus and minus.]
These are Plusle and Minun. They're twin Pokemon that work best when they're together...I haven't checked their genders and they're both Electric types, but um...it's why I traveled to Kanto, you can only find them there.
[His eyebrows rise up when she releases the pair, and he crouches down. The Plusle looks a bit uncertain about anything, sticking close to the Minun. With an outstretched hand and some reassuring noises, he gets them to come closer and gently starts to pet their heads.]
This is pretty cool, thanks... [He sounds a bit distracted as he pets the pair before he seems to snap out of it and grins sheepishly up at Maka.] Was it obvious...?
Oh man, what kind of badass am I that I got read that easy? [But he says it a bit more relaxed to show he isn't really serious about it. He keeps petting the mouse pair, rubbing their ears and helping them relax. His Doduo, welcome home sign put to the side, crouches down to have their heads peer over at their new teammates curiously.]
Yeah, I like coffee. Actually, hang on--I'll get the cups.
[Sure, Maka, not like Kirikou would be semi-familiar with what dishes go where by now or anything. In any case, she brings out two Duskull-shaped cups and sets them on the coffee table.]
[voice]
[voice]
[voice]
[Okay wait what.]
Why the hell are you trying to drown my Pokemon?
[voice]
...It's a jerk.
[voice]
[THAT SURE IS A KEY IN THE LOCK SOUND.]
and then it was action
[OH SHIT]
[Maka will probably hear the sound of a dumb teenage boy smashing into things in his haste on the other side of the door. [Maka use your words.]
Is this supposed to be a bribe so I forget you tried to drown one of my Pokemon?
oh god not the face
[Curse you, Blair. Curse you.]
Two, I had this planned before that happened. Got it?
yes the face and the nerdy glasses too
[Siiiiiiiiigh.]
...I wanted to bring you a present back, not have a party that's about me.
wow maka you'd hit a guy wearing glasses
[...]
You brought something back for me?
she'd hit a guy WITH glasses

This is pretty cool, thanks... [He sounds a bit distracted as he pets the pair before he seems to snap out of it and grins sheepishly up at Maka.] Was it obvious...?
[She probably gets what he means.]
um I think you mean clever
[#MeisterSolidarity and all.]
i admit nothing

Thanks. It means a lot.
NEEEERD
...So, what'd you make?
GEEEEEEEK
[He pushes himself up to his feet, finding a place for the electric pair in his arms in a way that's just familiar to him.]
It goes good with hot drinks- you like coffee? [He's never really asked- always been closer to Ox and Kim, after all, his own team.]
DWEEB.
[Sure, Maka, not like Kirikou would be semi-familiar with what dishes go where by now or anything. In any case, she brings out two Duskull-shaped cups and sets them on the coffee table.]
So were you going to make the coffee or should I?
[Ten bucks says she has a Dusknoir coffee maker.]
DORK
I was gonna make a little for myself anyway, just gimme a sec.
[Still cuddling the math pair, he starts to head off to the kitchen.]
Besides, I'm the one welcoming you home, right?
*OTAKU*
She's the head of the house this is weird.]
[And shut up the mugs are cute.]
Um. Okay. What do you want me to do?

[Why are you so weird]
Your FACE goes too far

welcome to my world of repetitive insults, bruh
[Okay relax, Soul sometimes made tea too when it's been a long day and you're tired, Maka. Just because it's Kirikou doesn't make it different.
Just.
Sit down and hold that egg, don't imagine eye lasers coming out and blasting your friend because it will not work.]
does he need to get you a book on new ones maka
